Elijah Wald is a top-notch historian of music, centered on the blues. He wrote Dylan Goes Electric: Newport, Seeger, Dylan and the Night that Split the Sixties, our book of the month for October 2023 (Click Here) and the book on which A Complete Unknown was based. His new book is Rock ‘N’ Roll, A Very Short Introduction (Oxford University Press). Wald also completed Dave Van Ronk’s hilariouso memoir Mayor of Macdougal Street. For those of you that are musicians—Wald has a website that includes a huge catalog of songs (Here!). For more information and links, check this message, which Elijah send to the Book Club.
