Boy From the North Country to be published September 16, 2025

Sam Sussman is the author of a new novel, Boy From the North Country, to be released in September, that draws on Bob Dylan’s life and work. This is interesting in its own right BUT let me point out that the Bob Dylan Book Club has just finalized its discussion topic for June 8th, 2025: Jeff Passe and Deborah Viveros will lead us in a discussion of the challenges of authors who write (in any genre) with connections to Dylan in mind. Jeff is working on a novel and Deborah is working on a non-fiction piece. In other words, we will discuss works in progress at our June meeting. If you are not yet a member, join the club (it’s free) and stay tuned for more information.
