Take note that our March meeting is on Sunday, March 22nd—the 3rd Sunday, one week later than our normal practice of meeting on the 2nd Sunday. That’s because we wanted to give you an extra week to read the brand new book by Michael Glover Smith called Bob Dylan As Filmmaker: No Time to Think. Smith’s book has a release date of March 2nd. You can preorder it now. This book is already generating a buzz in the Dylan Community and getting attention in the press. Christopher Vanni will host the discussion.
Also, a bit of LAST BOOK news: the video recording of our discussion with Chris Gregory based on his book Minstrel Boy is now uploaded—members can go to the Member Pages and look for the link to our recordings. We had some audio problems at the beginning, so the video begins mid-stream.
